Overwatch Flash Quiz provides browser-based flashcards, hero guides, and a quiz. This policy describes the services used to deliver the site and the choices available for advertising and browser data.

Flashcards and quiz answers

The quiz runs in your browser. The site does not operate a user-account system or a backend that receives your answers. The current quiz session is held in page memory. Loading pages and third-party resources still involves the network requests described below.

Google advertising

Google AdSense is the site's advertising service where advertising is enabled. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's advertising cookies enable Google and its partners to serve ads based on visits to this site and other sites on the Internet.

Advertising services may place or read cookies and use web beacons, IP addresses, device or browser information, and other identifiers to deliver and measure ads, limit repeated ads, prevent abuse, and personalize advertising where permitted. These requests may include the page being visited and an approximate location inferred from an IP address. Available advertising and data use depend on consent, region, and applicable service settings.

Advertising and cookie choices

You can opt out of Google's personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings. You can also review participating third-party advertising choices at YourAdChoices. Turning off personalization does not necessarily remove all advertising.

When an advertising consent message is displayed, use its controls to make or review the available choices. Your browser can also block or clear cookies and limit third-party requests. These controls may affect advertising and other resource loading. A browser setting or a choice made with one vendor does not automatically change every other vendor's settings.

Cloudflare hosting and analytics

Cloudflare Pages delivers this site. Hosting, network delivery, and security involve processing request information such as IP addresses, requested URLs, and browser headers. The live site also uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand page usage and performance. Cloudflare describes Web Analytics as using no cookies or browser fingerprinting; its analytics service is separate from Google advertising.

Fonts and hero images

The site loads fonts from Google Fonts and most hero portraits from CounterPickGG and its CloudFront image host. A browser request to one of those services sends connection information, including an IP address and browser headers; it may also send referrer information according to the browser's policy. Some images are included directly with the site instead of being requested from an external host.
